This will be an informal show and tell. The intention is to connect makers with each other and get some eyeballs on local moving image work.
If you would like to share a short film you’ve made, email admin@blueoyster.org.nz to register your interest, receive guidelines, and ask questions.
If you would like to see some short films, come through on the night!
Please note, this screening requires at least 2 films to take place. If you’re keen, let us know soon so the event can go ahead!
Accessibility Information:
Access to the gallery is via a slope and three steps. A temporary ramp will be in place to enable wheeled access.
There is a toilet on-site (not wheelchair accessible). The closest accessible public toilet is in Queens Gardens.
This will be a sit-down event with short breaks for film changeovers and introductions from the makers.
Filmmakers will be encouraged to share content warnings before their film is shown, however we know that themes, visuals, and sounds land differently with different people.
There will be seats in the back room; you are welcome to step out or leave if needed.
A range of seating options are available, including rigid chairs with and without arms, soft low chairs, and floor cushions.
Non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks will be provided.
