Join Public Share on the closing afternoon of Social Matter for refreshments, home baking and conversation about their recent projects and plans for a future project associated with Dunedin rail. A casual social gathering that welcomes any local rail stories you may have.

Public Share

Public Share (Monique Redmond, Harriet Stockman, Kelsey Stankovich, Deborah Rundle, Mark Schroder and Joe Prisk) is a New Zealand artist collective engaging in ideas of sharing and production. Combining object making and site exploration with social engagement and critique, the collective has a particular interest in workplace rituals, facilitating events that punctuate the day with pause and conviviality. Public Share actively engages with sites undergoing change and the conditions that govern workers’ everyday activities.

Public Share projects include Carried Forward for the ST PAUL St Curatorial Symposium, Auckland Art Gallery, August 2015; SMOKO, pt. 1 for Performing Mobilities Assembly in Melbourne, October 2015; A Right Stirrer for the Whau Arts Festival, Avondale, Auckland, October 2015; Conditions Subsequent for Urban Aspiration at The Physics Room, Christchurch, April 2016; SMOKO, pt. 2 (Return to Site), Well-Connected Alliance, Wiri, Auckland, June 2016; and Out of Office at Project Space/Spare Room, Melbourne, September 2016.
