Letting loose with a paintball gun Auckland based artist Haley Williams turns the lower gallery into a battle zone and a place for reflection. The white box is a safe point for reference and resistance, this is a painting massacre. Prepare to be made aware.
Born in Christchurch, Williams graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in May 2006. She is co-founder and board member of The Cross St Studio Artists Collective, a contemporary emerging art space in Auckland. Her work has been show at various galleries in Auckland and Christchurch.
Presented alongside Craig Hilton Postmodern T-shirt Clearance Sale and Magbh McIntyre How To Draw Trees.
