Using the Lower Gallery as her studio, International Artist in Residence Katharina Weishäupl will be making sculptures with children that "reference their experiences as immigrants to dunedin" (Weishäupl). The project is a fantastic opportunity for kids to connect with art and learn from an international artist with experience in children's art education, while also allowing them to be physically involved in a group project and create their own artworks.
15 March onward: Workshop with children
Thursday 17 April 2009: Artist Talk
Wenesday 2 April: Lecture 'Performance Art in Germany'
