Emerging Dunedin installation artist Rainy McMaster will use the walls of the Blue Oyster as a resting place for vinyl blow-ups of extracts from her diary in the exhibit, Pink Slip . The aesthetic shall suggest a giant book and the intimate nature of the text will create an unnaturally and sometimes uncomfortably close relationship with the viewer, challenging the boundaries of an audience's access to the thoughts of the artist and the acceptance of personal revelation in art.
