Home is where the art is.... soft, charming and burning with irony, House Work is framed by a nostalgia that centres obliquely on the domestic interior and its affect on our understanding of space. House Work explores notions of memory and experience through the installation work of five artists working in a range of media, from performance to photography. It considers how our imagining determines our relationship to space. It imparts a sense of the modern design values that were fuelled by a utopian quest for a better world.
