Get Involved

The Blue Oyster Gallery is a community effort that relies on the help of many wonderful people. If you want to become involved in the Blue Oyster Gallery, there are a number of ways you can:

1. Sign up to our newsletter to hear about what's happening.

2. Come to show openings, everyone is welcome, and they are held every month on Tuesdays at 5.30pm. Watch for posters, flyers and local publicity for details.

3. View the shows, just pop into the gallery space at Basement, Moray Chambers, 24b Moray Place, Dunedin, and make yourself known to our director.

4. Become a volunteer.  Send us an email if you want to know about volunteer activities. We need lots of help stamping envelopes, poster/flyer runs, maintenance of gallery spaces, cleaning, putting up and taking down and packing up shows and other supportive tasks.

5. As an artist, put in proposal to the Trust. Watch our website for closing dates for proposals.

6. Are you a curator or art writer? Check out the website and submit a proposal to curate a show. Writers, submit a sample of your writing by email.

7 Join the Blue Oyster Arts Trust. From time to time trust positions become available. E-mail a CV and cover letter to blu eoystertrust@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
